Family of 4 (plus two extras) going the week of Memorial Day. "Kids" are 25 and 26 and each are taking their boyfriend / girlfriend. We've been a bunch and have stayed at WL, BC, YC, AKL etc.

I'm thinking that being close to Disney Springs is going to be important to be closer to the adult activities at night so I have narrowed it down to either 3 separate rooms at the Swan or Dolphin or a 2 BR and a Studio at SSR. We haven't stayed at either of these and would love some input. Can we go wrong do either of these?

I generally stay at the Swan or Dolphin so I can comment on those. Your 20-somethings would probably enjoy the "grown-up" business atmosphere of the bar/restaurant scenes there compared to a Disney hotels. I enjoy walking to Epcot and Hollywood studios, so the S&D are very convenient, especially during Epcot festivals. You will certainly get more space at SSR.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. I would boil it down to whether you would rather be super close to the Boardwalk, EP and DHS or if you would rather have a ton more space, kitchen, washer/dryer and be close to DS.

I stayed at the Swan 2 years ago. Room was nice and renovated but was not blown away by the rest of the resort. The dolphin has a way nicer lobby. Also, I could tell the service was not up to “Disney standards.” I also missed not being able to link my credit card to my magic band for charges in the park/around the resort.
I would go for Saratoga Springs to be closer to Disney Springs! So much to do, eat, and drink. You could always do one night at the boardwalk area after Epcot or Hollywood studios.

SSR for proximity to DS. Beautiful grounds for walking and delicious food and drink (the drinks at Paddock pool bar are to die for)!!
