SSR Vacuum?

Does the SSR vacuum in the Grand Villa have a hose that detaches to take the air out of things? I was thinking of getting those bag storers in which you put your clothes in and then use the vacuum to take the air out and it doesn't take that much room in your suitcase.

I doubt it. I know the ones at OKW don't.

All of the Villa vacuums I've seen are uprights, with no hose (standard bagged vacuum) - that's in OKW, HHI, AKV, BCV, so I assume the >studios in SSR have the same.

However, you can still get space bags to use! We use them all the time for travel. They have travel-specific bags and dual-use bags that you roll the air out of instead of having to use a vacuum. They work great! We usually manage to be able to pack for the 3 of us (DH, DD7, myself) for a week in 1 large suitcase. Of course, we usually take 2, since we come home with more than we go down to WDW with!

Just looked and the SSR vacuums are like all the others, no hose attachment.

I haven't seen the roll up ones. Where did you get them?

We've gotten them at Linens-n-Things and JC Penney. They're either the "Travel" type or the "dual" type (that use either vacuum or roll). If you look at the big boxes of SpaceBags at LnT, they'll typically have one or two luggage-size bags included - those are usually of the roll type.
