Considering a stay at the Treehouses. OK.....here's my question....regarding bus service. Are the buses shared with the rest of the SSR???? :confused3:eek:If so, how bad is it? On the diagram, I saw there are only 2 bus stops in the treehouse section. Is that sufficient??? Any info will be appreciated. :goodvibes

don't know for sure - so go ask on the DVC board

heard that the 2 bus stops would go to Springs (at ssr) then transfer to theme park buses at springs with SSR spring guests. but someone else say one of these buses would go to DD?????

would not stay here without a car.

LINDA!!!!

I had the same question. According to Allearsnet the 2 stops within the treehouse section DO NOT go directly to the parks, they go to SSR, where you then transfer to the "regular" Disney transportation buses. The buses that run between SSR & the treehouses supposedly go every 20 minutes or so.

Hmmmm...I'm thinking at the end of a long day the Disney buses will drop you at SSR & then you have to wait for your treehouse bus on top of that.....hmmm....it says you can walk along a path from SSR to the treehouses but I'd imagine it's pretty dark at night, and pretty long...then up all those steps.....:rotfl2:

ok with all things come some cons and bus transportation at the Treehouses is a con.

You will be shuttled over to SSR to either the Grandstand or Springs bus stop and wait there for a bus to the parks. Same thing on the return trip. There is a pathway from the Grandstand area to the treehouses, but depending on which Treehouse you get it can be a long walk.

It does seem to be a big con!! Bus transportation at SSR is a nightmare to begin with!!!! That's the only part of SSR that really disappointed me. :sad2: Time to think!
