SSR to Boma for breakfast

Is it difficult getting to Animal Kingdom Lodge from SSR in the am for a Boma breakfast?Should we get on the bus at DTD and take that? Our ADR is at 9:30 am, how much travel time should we allow?

Check to see if there is an early breakfast bus when you arrive to check in at SSR.

The DTD buses will not start running early enough to get yo to the AKL in time for a 9:30 ADR.

If there isn't an early breakfast bus, take the bus from SSR to the AK and transfer there to a bus to the AK. My advice is to be waiting for th bus at SSR around 8 am./ You might need extra time at the AK to get a bus to the AK. If you get to the AKL early, there is quite a bit to see while you wait.

Thank you! I'll make sure I ask about the early buses from SSR. Is that something new or do most resorts have am breakfast buses?
How often do the buses run in the am from AK to AKL? There can't be too many people leaving AK before it even opens?

WHAT! The buses start running at 7:00 a.m. which is plenty of time to get to AKL. Depending on where your room is at SSR you can either take the bus or walk over to DTD then take the AKL bus.

I really don't think the buses start running between Downtown Disney and the resorts until about an hour before the shops open. I know the buses start running for the parks as early as 7 am, though.

I took a DTD bus a little after 7:00 am to DTD so I could go to the Hess station for some laundry soap during our Feb 2009 trip.
