SSR Theme

It would be cool if the buildings were named after famous races (ie The Travers, The Whitney etc.). Since the Saratoga Race Track is one of the most famous tracks in the country, I wondered if they would use horse names or something to name things in the resort. Obviously the Spa has ties to Saratoga's famous past.

Just wondered if anyone had any insight on how the theme is going to be carried out.

Well, they've got the race horse in the logo already. It will be interesting to see what they do and for experts like yourself to pick up on "little" things. There are all kinds of these "little" things around the BWV that are apparent to folks who knew the "old" Atlantic City. I expect Disney will do the same at SSR.

Don't forget the other 1/2 of the SSR theme! (Saratoga Springs is also known for health, spas, and natural springs)

Yes - I mentioned that in the post. There are many spots in Saratoga (The state park, race track, and in town) where you can stop and find the natural spring mineral water. They attract a lot of people, I personally dont like the taste of the water, but many do.

I can think of one effect of the natural spring water that I'd rather not experience at WDW. They've also already got some "funny tasting" water.
