We're taking our first DVC trip and we're staying at our home resort, SSR. What studio room views do you like best and why? Is there a studio with a lake view? I understand the Downtown Disney view is great, but should we be concerned about late night fireworks noise? Thanks for your suggestions.

I have stayed at SSR twice and both times got a DD view, the first stay a bit better than the second. First time the view was directly across from DD and second time a bit of an angle. The fireworks barely woke us up and once we were actually awake that late and went out to our balcony, along with many other guests and watched the great but brief show. Loved the view both day and night!! ::MinnieMo

We stayed in the last building in Congress Park at SSR closest to DD. We had a 3rd floor studio room with a view of Fulton's Crab house and DD - we could also watch the fireworks from our balcony at midnight! When we went to bed before the fireworks, we could not hear them at all! Noise was not a problem!

We stayed in 2 different studios so far. 1105 and 1301. Both were great views of Downtown Disney. No noise form the fireworks either, plus they are the closest when walking to downtown disney.

We just got back from SSR, also at the last building in congress park. We had a beautiful DD view. The walk was wonderful. Shopped, went to Cirque, had dinner, shopped! Then we walked home, got a bottle of wine from the Artist's Palette and watched the fireworks from our 2nd floor balcony. They only last two or three minutes. On, the other nights of our stay the noise didn't even bother a light sleeper like myself. BTW our balcony overlooked a very cute little courtyard. Take the view enjoy the fireworks one night and don't worry about the noise.

Thanks everyone for your comments. We requested a studio with a view of DD.
