SSR studio or 1-bed refurbished to sleep 5?

I know BWV and BCV were recently refurbished so that studios can sleep 5. Think it's likely to happen to SSR in the future? It seems like every other resort can accommodate 5 in a studio and/or 1-bedroom.

I can't think of reason they wouldn't also do it at SSR but it would be the studios like the other resorts and not the 1BR's as it is the same floor plan.

The SSR 1BR does sleep 5. They just don't provide bedding or a bed for the 5th -- exactly like VWL, BCV and BWV. I would not expect them to be adding a bed in the SSR 1BR for the same reason they haven't in those other units. It would block the door in lock-offs.

Sorry, should have clarified adding an actual bed for a 5th. I assumed they would only do one room type, not both. I'm not familiar with the 1-bed layout there. Good to know that 5 is possible though! Thanks!

I think they could potentially in the studio. I doubt it happens in the 1BR, just for the reasons it hasn't happened anywhere else they've dropped a murphy into the studio but have left the 1BR as BYOB for #5.

I really, really hope they don't add the murphy bed to the SSR studios. We just did a split stay in studios, SSR and BWV, and I so much prefer the SSR layout. We own at SSR and have been thankful they haven't changed it over.

I really hope they do convert SSR studios to sleep 5. As a BWV owner who doesn't need the extra occupancy it is frustrating that they have created a situation with the refurb that further drives demand for the studios at more popular resorts like BWV, BCV, and VWL. It also presumably would increase our dues as a result of the higher occupancy (bedding plus more towels required in the rooms and at pools to accommodate the added occupants=more capital expenditures and increase laundry costs, additional transportation and ME costs, etc). We all know SSR is typically the last resort to book up but perhaps with the new point structure if they offered 5 in a studio it would be more desirable to larger families.
