SSR: Staying at Springs, trouble getting on bus?

We will be at Disney SOON! :) We'll be staying at SSR. I requested Springs because I thought it would be convenient to be near the restaurants and the pool.

I know that Springs is the last bus stop. How often were the buses full by the time they got to Springs? Did you have to stand often because the buses were full? We'll be there 11/3 - 11/10, so I'm not sure if that will be less of a problem.

Should I request a different section?

TIA!

We stayed at SSR last month in The Grandstand section. There were quite a few times that the bus was full and standing only by the time it got to the Springs section. The resort did not seem overly busy.

We have three kids 10 and under and the walk to the main pool was nothing from our room. We were also right next to the quiet pool which is also themed. The kids loved it. We walked to the main pool once a night an no one ever complained about the walk. Grandstand is the first bus stop to be picked up and dropped off. We were really thrilled with the location.

Have a great trip!!

That is my favourite section to stay in - it is so convenient. You should be fine at this time of year. We never had to stand on the bus last October.

Just returned last Thursday from Saratoga Springs. The only time we saw packed busses was at park closing (MGM and Typhoon Lagoon). Every other time we caught a bus there was PLENTY of room on the bus. Certainly each time we left SS, the bus was less than half full.
Enjoy - the resort is beautiful!!!

Thanks for the responses! Conflicting reports! What to do? Any others with input?

Have stayed at SSR 3 times and only once saw a bus too full to pick up at Springs.

We were at SSR the same time last year. It was pretty crowded, it's NJ Week, so it's not your typical low crowd week. It's better than summer or the holidays, but still crowded. Last year Grandstand wasn't opened yet, and we stayed in the Paddock. I would say that MOST of the time, by the time we got to the Springs stop, the bus was almost at standing room only capacity. I remember DH and I saying that we were happy we didn't get our request for the Springs, because they were always standing.

After 3 stays, we haven't seen a bus that was too full to pick up at the Springs. Most of the time there were plenty of seats available for people.
