SSR Spa?

I noticed that you can see a listing of the offerings for the Grand Floridian Spa, but what about Saratoga's? When do you think we'll be able to see those offerings and then be able to schedule? Iv'e never had a spa treatment at WDW -- is this something I will be able to book ahead of time? Is the Spa going to be open when SSR opens?

My member book and all says that the spa should be open when the resort opens. But, I don't know when they'll put the spa info out or when we can book. I just got home from my V-Day gift- a massage. It was wonderful! I know i will be getting one in WDW, too.

I am still hoping against hope that somehow SSR and the Spa itself opens just a tad early (remember how BCV opened before their actual opening date???) . Our trip ends on May 13 and we were very much hoping to go to the Spa at SSR for at least a couple of treatments. We do have alternative plans but wishing for a major dose of pixie dust here. Any time in the past that we have gone to this spa when it was the Disney Institute, we liked it much more than the GF spa. So lets keep our fingers crossed for a menu release and early opening.

I actually emailed Guest Services last week with this question. The Spa is set to open on May 17th. She sent me a copy of the menu, but there weren't prices on it. It didn't seem any different than when I was there last May, shortly before it closed.

Excellent! I'm guessing that's when we'll be able to ask about prices?

I am hoping to schedule some appointments for May 28th or 29th while we're at home. I love having a spa at home.

What treatment are you thinking about getting? I had the paraffin pedicure last time, this time I think I'm going for the Luxurious Aromatherapy Programme......You only live once!!!


I notice you and I have the same arrival date, are you planning on going to Member Homecoming too?

Oooh...maybe the Seaweed body Wrap, Deep Pore Cleaning or the Seaweed treatment with Pedicure. Even my husband likes spa treatments, so it would be fun to have an afternoon or morning treatment together.

We will be at the BCV May 23 - 28 with friends. Then off to SSR the 28 - 30.

We won't be participating in the Member Homecoming events -- too much of an added expense for our budget.

What are your plans?

We arrive on the 22nd and are spending that night at POP Century. It's too many points to stay a Saturday night, when we aren't arriving until later in the day. Then we'll be at BWV for 5 nights. I can't wait for Member Homecoming, we were on the Member Cruise last Feb and it was so much fun, there was no way we couldn't got to MH!!

Ahhhh...I'm counting the days til our June trip to SSR so that I can take advantage of the spa treatments! I'm ready for a massage and a pedicure. The pricing looks fair...and I believe DVC members get a discount.
