SSR Spa

I know the spa was kept open when SSR construction first started, but did I read somewhere that it is closed now? And if it is still open, will it be open in January? And I thought I read of a DVC 30% discount, or was I dreaming?

It is closed now.
It should reopen when the resort re-opens.
It did have a discount for DVC right before it closed.
There has been no statement yet on what level of discount DVC will get when it reopens.

(So nope, you weren't dreaming....)

You may want to try to get your pampering done at GF instead.

Anybody got more recent news on this, let us know -- I've been desperately seeking spa info for my SIL and I to have a relaxing get-away!

It is now closed - they closed it in July (the construction is too close to it) - and it will reopen this spring when SSR does -

Did you buy points at SSR? Because if you did, look in the paperwork for your SSR purchase, there is a separate page concerning the Spa discounts.

Nope, you weren't dreaming...in the paperwork for the SSR, there is a page which tells about the discounts (it was 20% in general, but some select treatments are 30% off ), but the discounts are not guaranteed forever. The Spa is scheduled to reopen when SSR opens in May/Jun.

Darn, I guess I'll have to "make do" with the Grand Floridian!
