Can anyone out there tell me what the DVC Member package would be?? They really don't explain what would be included, a massage, facial etc.?? I can't find any specifics and want to look into booking something for myself and a friend when we visit in Dec/Jan. Thanks for any info.
I called and made a reservation for next week. I asked them about specials for DCV members. They said that they had specials or you could get a "DVC special " When she started naming the things included, and I started tallying what was included, It appeard that the items were cheaper when if I purchased them separetly, and then used the DVC discount ( 10 or 15% not sure which) I questioned her, and she found the same thing, put me on hold and sure enough, it was cheaper to do it ala carte!.
So that's what I did. I'll be sure to update when I return. I am doing a pedicure, mystical forest wrap and massage and a facial. It should take 4 hours. Maybe someone else has more infomation.
In July I had a manicure and pedicure at the spa. Let me tell you that it was the best pedicure I've ever had. Please try and ask for Conchita. She treated each little finger and toe as if they were her own! And, the Mystical Forest lotion they used had such a nice fragrance I had to pick some up to take home. I think you'll really enjoy the time there.
Now, whenever I feel the "Disney urge" overcome me I smear some of that great body lotion on and I'm set!!
Go to www.relaxedyet.com - the spa website.

I had a good experience at the spa, by my DH did not like his therapist at all. Make sure you are specific on the type of massage you like. To much pressure point for my dh.
Well I am back! I had the Mystical Forest Massage.. great! A Mystical Forest Thearapy Body wrap ( by Anthony, but that's another story ) Which was awesone for my first experince at one of those.. and a Facial.. not as good as the ones at home and the Spa pedicure. Which was the same as one at home. The spa it's self was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. The spa seemed to be somewhat over booked and I had to wait quite a lot between the treatments.
The pedicure was just so so, it looked great, but It felt the same as the ones at home. We just had a new spa open up at home and their equipment there is much newer and nicer. There was too much time spent by the technicians talking about thier next clients and their work seemed to be too mechanical. They seemed to be not interested in me or their other client, just getting done so they could leave. Francis, my pedicure technican, did a wonderful job, but I did have to hear about how she was ill from a tooth that she had pulled an had become infected.. REALLY.. do I care? yes.. but Not when I am paying for a SPA pedicure.. give me relaxation in a calming atmosphere.. not pain and infection.the pedicure was last so it kindof ticked me off! Don't get me wrong. She did a great job, and did everything that should be done on a pedicure, but I could have had that done at home and not wasted my time and extra $$ there. Next time, I'll get my pedicure and facial at home, and get my massage and body wrap at the spa.
