SSR Spa closure dates

Went online to try to book a peppermint pedicure for after the marathon and can not find any info about the spa or closure dates. I know it is being closed to be changed to a Disney owned property. Does anyone know the dates and if this closure is also going to affect the fitness center?

Suppose to close on or about 1/16 and be closed until about August.

The closure starts around January 17 and runs into August 2013.

Not sure about the fitness center. If it is closing for any amount of time, they will almost certainly set up a temporary location somewhere on property. Beach Club's fitness center closed for a few months in 2012 and they moved a few pieces of equipment into the Solarium.
