SSR shared transportation?

Do you think that SSR will have to share the same bus transportation with OKW or have their own like OKW currently has?

I expect SSR to have it's own bus transportation to the resorts. To my knowkedge DIsney has not made any announcement about how it will be handled after the resort opens, but the resort will be large enough by itself to combine with another resort, IMO.

Some have reported that the boat to DD will be shared with OKW- a reasonable move since the SSR marina sits bewteen OKW and DD. It will add about 5 minutes to each leg of the trip. ( I also feel that the SSR marina is out of the way for most SSR guests to get to DD- walking will be much faster in most cases and not much further.)

I am sure we will take the boat ride once just to do it, but I dont have any problem walking to DD.

Cant wait to see some fireworks from PI as well. Do they have them every night?

I agree with you here.

Isn't there a similar situation with the Epcot boat hitting BW and BC/YC before stopping just outside the International Gateway? I walked from Epcot to the Boardwalk during my last trip, and remember thinking that it seemed a lot of hassle to cover a few hundred feet.

Yes there is. From the BCV, it takes longer to walk to where the boat dock is for the YC/BC than it does for you to walk directly to EPCOT. And it takes longer too.
