SSR room suggestions

Hi
What would be the best location to request at SSR?
The kids will be doing lots of swimming and will be going to parks each day. Access to DTD is not important to us.

Also does the new paddock pool have a mug refill station or is that only at artists palate?

We really enjoyed the Paddock section. When we stayed there last we were in the building right next to the new pool (has a great slide and you can get food there as well). The bus stop was was right there as well which made it very convenient, and it was also the 3rd stop after entering the resort (when you came from the parks) so it didn't feel like you were on the bus for a long time. Also, if you wanted to head over to the main building/pool, there was a really nice walking bridge that took you across the lake. We have also stayed in Congress Park which gave us an awesome view of DTD, however that seemed a bit farther out to get to the main pool/building. When we go back (we are DVC members and it is our home resort) we will definitely be heading back to the Paddocks. Have a great stay, we really enjoy this resort.

We stayed in the building adjacent to the Paddock pool last month and LOVED the location. The convenience of being steps away from the pool and bridge couldn't be beat. I have no other location to compare it to, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We prefer the Paddock area when we stay there. Yes there is a refill station at the Paddock pool.

I usually request Springs or "close to the Carriage House". I've stayed in every section except Congress Park and really enjoyed all of them.

We like the Springs, but the problem with this section is that it is the last bus stop. If the bus fills up as it makes it's way through the resort you will be standing or might even need to wait for another bus to come. The time of year you will be visiting will dictate how busy the buses will be.

We're fans of Grandstand. It's not too far from the main building, first on/off the buses and there's a quiet pool there with a drink station.

I'm a Congress Park girl. I love the walkway to DTD and view of same. Don't forget to request the view though. I learned that the hard way. I requested the section, but not the view of DTD and ended up gazing at the parking lot. Live and learn!

My favorite section is the Paddock. My son loves the pool there and I like having the QS option at the snack bar there to grab a quick breakfast without having to go to Artists Pallette. The mug refill station is right there. It's perfect for us.

paddock sounds great...how is it for busses? Is it best to walk to an earlier stop to make sure we get on? We are a family of 6.
