SSR room request question....

Hi everyone....

We will be staying at SSR in October for F&W. I was looking for thoughts on a room request for a studio in the Congress Park section (we have "preferred" reserved and as I understand it, that's CP or the Springs). Does anyone have a good building # and/or room # that would overlook Disney Springs? Also, can anyone provide a link to a map to the CP section only?

When I called Member Services to make the request the rep asked if I had a building and/or room # request in mind. I did end up making the general request of 'Congress Park' and 'water view' (he said the only water is the lake between SSR and DS). He said feel free to call back and add more specific requests if I wanted. I'm guessing many people may do this?

Congress Park, DS view is all that you will need. IMO requesting too specific can restrict your chances for a happy stay. If you request a building or room number you may get the building but the view of a bush. If the room is occupied, what room will they give you? The room assigners only look at the first 2 requests in order.
