SSR room question

We stayed in a Studio last week at SSR but our Studio had an adjoining room. I can't imagine that the adjoining room was a 2 bedroom because it didn't have a large balcony. We've stayed at SSR in a 2 bedroom and I remember that the balcony was a good size with a table and chairs. This one was the same size as our studio, yet the room did have the extra windows.That is why I assumed it was a 1 bedroom.
Does anyone know what type of accomidation this would be with the 2 rooms adjoining? We were on the 4th floor Room 2412.

A 1 bedroom villa would adjoin your studio, making it a 2 bedroom villa lock-off.

a kitchen and a kitchenette, not really 2 full kitchens.
