SSR Room for honeymoon

Hello everyone and a happy new year to you. Man its getting close; 27 days until we are there for our wedding and honeymoon. I want to call and request a certain building in SSR. I know it's not guaranteed but can anyone recommend a great building they stayed in. It's a february wedding so I love the idea of walking to DTD and quite possibly if its one of those warm nights maybe even swimming. If swimming I want a very quiet pool with no much activity. Any suggestions would be so helpful. Thanx

Do you have any guidebooks? Most have maps, so you can see how the resort is laid out. I have the Unofficial Guide to WDW, and it has a map as well as building recs depending on your needs (quiet and secluded, near the main buildings, etc.)

I would like to suggest visiting the DVC Planning boards as they really helped us before our first stay at SSR.

Just to add, we love SSR. It's a great resort! Like a resort in itself! We stayed in a GREAT location this past trip. We were in Congress Park which I did request and we had stayed in before. This time we were in the bldg by CP pool. We were also on the ground floor which to my surprise was quite convenient. You are a 5 min. walk away from the main area, a 7 minute walk away from the boat dock and about 15 min walk from DTD if you don't want to take the boat.

We were about 15 steps to the CP pool and I can tell you I didn't hear a thing because I believe most if not all of CP has the impact windows which really help with the outside noise.

We were in room 2141 which was a 1 bedroom villa. If you look on the map it is the bldg on the west side of the CP pool area. It really was a great location. In 2006 we were in CP as well in the bldg closest to DTD and had an awesome view of DTD but it was a bit far from the main area. We felt 2141 was probably our favorite location.
