So, I just booked a 1bdrm...My first time staying at SSR...
So, I have a real dumb question...how do we know which section of SSR we're staying at? Or, will I only find out at check-in?

The are no guaranteed booking categories at SSR. You will not know until you check-in.

You can always add a request to your reservation if you are interested in a certain section. Requests are never guaranteed and depending on your luck, you may get what you request. We seem to average about a 50% success rate.

You're going to love it! SSR is an awesome resort. Have a great vacation.

FWIW call and make your request. Look at the maps and give first, second and third choice. Don't pick one because you may be disappointed.
