SSR pool hopping??

Can anyone give a definitive answer: can we pool hop to SSR?
I've seen a number of mentions on the board that "it's been said we can't pool hop to SSR."
Anyone seen written policy yet?? Maybe in a members perks in your room this week??

I went to a Member Update on Thursday. They specifically said OKW members could pool hop to Saratoga Springs while the OKW slide was added.

That's good; it didn't seem fair to stay at OKW without the large pool being open and a comparable substitute not available...now we can hop the ferry over to SSR. We'll be at OKW in first week of November, so I imagine we'll take advantage of the pool hopping option at least once. Since it's not during the restricted season, we may take a try at one of the other resort pools... maybe Polynesian.

DVC regularly publishes the rules and restrictions for pool hopping. I haven't seen anything that says DVC members staying at SSR aren't allowed to pool hop, or that DCV members staying with points at other DVC resorts are not allowed to pool hop to SSR. (Only the pools Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Yacht & Beach Clubs are always unavailable for DVC pool hopping.)

It's my understanding that while the feature pool at OKW is closed, all OKW guests (members, renters, cash guests, and exchangers) will temporarily have access to the pool at SSR. That's not pool hopping; that's just substitute pool access, just as when the pool at the Poly was closed for remodeling.
