SSR Pizza delivery?

Just curious. Anyone know why they don't offer pizza delivery at SSR? We love the idea of coming back from a late night at the park and getting pizza...

Any chance they ever will? They offer it at OKW, so it's right next door....

So here is the great news. They do offer it at SSR. It is the same people as Old Key West. Just touch the operator button from the in room phone and they will connect you. The pizza was pricey but actually very good when we went the last time. Hope that helps.

hmm, that's interesting. When we were there in February they wouldn't deliver to us. No worries, we ordered from Pizza Hut!

Reason I asked is I'm on the DVC Member site and just looked at Resort Comparisons. Pizza delivery is not listed as available, and that made me remember our February trip.

We'll give it another try in May and see if they will deliver this time!

We had it delivered to us in December...........They also accepts the meal plan

Dh and I were just trying to remember where we got the pizza from when we were staying at SSR in '06. We thought maybe it was Domino's, but our brothers and sisters ordered it for the kids so we weren't sure.

Back in Sep. we satyed at POR and we ordered pizza (papa johns)one night, wich is kind of a rituall with us. And they told me that Disney security has now placed a rule that, due to some robberies by people posing as delivery drivers, they are only allowed to go to the front desk. In other words I would have to hike to the lobby for my night time za. The front desk informed me that they have delivery service on site that goes to por, porfq, ssr, and okw. So I ordered that wich wasn't bad but overpriced. I asked when that rule went into place and they said for years now.
Funny because last May it was no prob at OKW. I just called by the guard tower before he let them through.

I know Saratoga has had pizza delivery for over a year now. You can find the info on one of the tv channels in your room. There is also information in your check-in packet or was.
