Are all the buildings open in the Paddocks. Is there more than one bus stop, if so where is the second one located? I know one is near the pool.

Are the buildings numbered for indentification purposes like the buildings at OKW are? If so what are they?

Thanks for any help.

All of the buildings in the first two phases are open- this includes 5 buildings in The Paddocks. There is a bus stop and a neighborhood pool in that area. (For two of the current Paddocks buildings, the Congress Park bus stop is closer.)

The buildings are NOT numbered like OKW. (See SSR Map)

The third phase of construction will add two more buidlings in The Paddock area and another four buildings near the Carriage House, on the golf course.

Enjoy!

Thanks Doc. The small room numbers listed on each building can you read them? I know the last building begins with the 6500 and goes up?

I can't read the others.

Thanks

Hi Sammie,

There are now 2 bus stops along the Paddocks route. The first one is called 'The Carousel' and the second is 'The Paddocks' and then the bus goes onto Congress Park and then The Springs - one stop each.

On Doc's map and the one on my site there is only one stop shown in the Paddocks area which is a mistake. I've got a new map from my March visit so I'll post this later.

Hope this helps.

Ok, and just so you know the room numbers are tricky. Whoever thought of this needs to close up a few holes in their head.

If you have a room number x5xx its on the first floor, x6xx on the second floor.

They don't do 1 for the first and 2 for the second. So watch the second number.

It took us quite a while to figure it out and we actually asked a passerby, it took them a while to as their room number was x7xx and they were on the 3rd floor.

Thanks Barry, that would be a great help. I really like the location of the building nearest the bridge crossing over the lake. Not sure what those numbers are.

Cobbler, I agree the number system is confusing. :thumbsup2

When we stayed there in Jul '05 we were in room 4521. It was the on the 1st floor, right at the entrance way of the 1st building in The Paddock section. There was a bus stop RIGHT outside our door. 2 buildings down at the quiet pool there was another bus stop which is across from that long bridge.

Thanks so that is considered the 4500 building.

The buildings seem to be in pairs that share the first digit of the building. One building will have x1xx for the first floor villas and it's mate will use x5xx for the first floor.

Here is a SSR Building layout I did the first week it was open. At that time only one building was open to guests, but a couple of others were almost completed and I was able to verify the numbering system from those buildings.

I hope this helps!

(Barry's map will also help!! :) )

It does help thanks and you are right they do share numbers in pairs.

Thanks Doc, that post is pretty detailed. But the U part stuff confuses the crap out of me.

At least now I know what floor I am on and I will wonder around until I find the room, the signs should help.

I will second that this can be very confusing. We had no idea how the buildings were numbered and looked forever for our villa once we had its number. We found it, but I wish I had read Doc's post before!
