Hey roomies!

I dont know about you guys but with all these new DCV resort rumors I am so glad I own at SSR! ( Staying at VWL this year though )

This question really applies to popular vacation times such as Christmas, New Years ect....

Have you been refused for your stay at SSR in your 11 month window for any travel dates??? Just curious, I have friends that own at BCV and they have a hard time booking at their 11 month window...especially for holiday travel. Is that because of its size?

We've only been to WDW once since becoming members (Saved points for a cruise that sails in 3 weeks). We went last January for marathon weekend. I don't remember exactly when we reserved our room but we were well within the window and had no problem getting in. I called shortly before the trip to try and upgrade to a 1 bedroom but they were all taken.

I have been trying to book NYE at SSR since the 11 month window, and so far nothing. I also had to waitlist for the days around NYE and I did get the 1st and 2nd of Jan. but am still waiting on NYE 2007 and have been for months. It seems NYE sold out at all the resorts the first week the window opened.

Im hoping with the new units opening up that something will become available

Im waitlisted for a studio or 1 bedroom.

I reserved a 1 bdrm. for Oct. 7-11 but when I decided to upgrade to a 2 bdrm. they didn't have one of the nights. I'm still hoping my waitlist comes through. I made the reservation in July which is very close to my dates. Also I realize that October is a popular time to reserve for. Marie

I made ressies in May for Nov 26-29th and Dec 20-23 and got dedicated 2 bedrooms for both without a problem. I think it's probably because I'm after and before the respective holidays. Fortunately, I don't have to work around school vacations so I should be able to travel "off-peak" and don't expect to have to many problems. Especially if the new resorts open and everyone goes running to them.
