SSR or Wyndham Grand Hotel

We are looking at booking SSR studio for February 2022 (renting points) and have stayed there before and like the look of the newly renovated rooms. For about 500.00 cheaper we can stay at Wyndham Grand, which has good reviews and it looks like they have some nice dining options and multiple pools, too. Has anyone stayed at both who could provide me with a comparison? We are going to take an Uber for some days at Universal. We might spend a day at a Disney park (7 day trip), so we would miss out on bus transportation to the parks from SSR. Thank you!

I showed my family a video tour of the newly renovated SSR studios and they want to go there instead of Wyndham. Although I am still curious about Wyndham if anyone has thoughts to share!

We stayed at the Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek timeshare resort earlier this month, which is in the same complex as the Wyndham Grand Hotel, and it's a great place to be especially when you're not going to the WDW parks very much. Six pools, six restaurants, lazy river, mini golf, even an ice cream shop - no need to leave the complex if you didn't want to!
