SSR Open House Friday May 7

Just checked into OKW. Got a notice with our check-in papers that there will be an open house at SSR on Friday from 9 to 5. Maybe we'll check it out.

Thanks for the update Debbie. Are you using the DSL for your laptop or dial up?Someone posted today and said OKW was hooked up now.

The cm at check-in said the high speed was scheduled to go online on May 4. I have an old laptop, I don't know if it could even be hooked up to it. One problem though - the plug behind the end table only has 2 outlets. The lamp takes one and the high speed takes another. The high speed box has a wire around the outlet so it can't be unplugged. So to plug in my laptop I had to unplug the lamp (my battery doesn't last long). Then it was too dark so I brought the floor lamp over closer to the couch. Rearranging the room

Can we find out what kind of internet access they'll have at SSR? both in the rooms or WiFI somewhere on the grounds.

Bumping this up just in case Debbie found out any more answers about high speed hook up's and WiFi.
