Update- Tried to switch to Standard one bedroom at BLT right at the 7 month mark last week.. it was filled just as I was trying to reserve it!!! Instead of doing the waitlist, we decided to just book VWL.. my wife has always wanted to stay there, and I"m sure we're going to love it!
We'll do BLT next time.

Next Update.... I decided to go ahead and waitlist us for BLT anyway, so now we are in a true win/win situation.. either we get BLT or we're "stuck" with VWL!!!! HOOO RAAYYYY!!!

Mardi Gras this year is perfect for a trip to DW. It is later that normal so the weather should be good and it is no where near President's week. We went last year for MG (we get a week off in Mobile too) and it was slammed with people due to Pres. week and the Datona 500. Never again! Wish I could go back this year but we are booked for Memorial Day week instead.

We learned that lesson a few years ago.. we went for Mardi Gras during President's week, and it was as busy as I have ever seen it. So last year for Mardi Gras (and President's week) we decided to do Universal Studios... and we LOVED IT..

This year the plans are:

Mardi Gras- Disney at BLT or VWL
Summer- Back to USF at HRH

We love going to WDW during Mardi Gras!! This year we are going the end of May to celegrate our DS's high school graduation!!

Update!!! My wife looked it up last night on the website.. our wait list came through. We will be staying at a one bedroom at Bay Lake Towers for Mardi Gras... we are so excited!!!!

Congrats on getting BLT!!! My daughter and I will be there too for the second half of our trip. We check in to BLT on the 8th. We'll be at BCV before that. We love going to Disney for Mardi Gras (except for when it falls at the same time as President's week).

Update.. only about 2 months away now.. only 2 weeks left of coaching soccer.. then it is all about DISNEY!!!

We have secured La Nouba as part of Mommy's Christmas Gift.. we are very excited as this will be our first time watching this show. We'll be watching the show on the Saturday night as we stay off-site. Then the next day we check in at Bay Lake Tower.. one bedroom!!!!

As it is slowly getting closer.. the excitement is building..
