SSR - Leaving Wednesday, Calling Today for Location Request, Please Help

Hi.
I am leaving on Wednesday for SSR.
We have a Standard One Bedroom.

We are having pool days, 3 park days, dinners in DTD and a day of golf (followed by dinner at Citrocos).

I was going to request Grandstand Building, specifically 85-88.
What is my second request? Just anything Grandstand?

Is Springs a Standard building request or Preferred? Do I want Springs, given above?

The broader the request, the greater the chance of the room assigner being able to fill it. I don't know when all assigners assign rooms but some start a week prior to check in and some assign by the date that the request was placed.

I would think that either Near Transportation or Near Pool along with Grandstand Section would (if requests granted) put you in the area you are trying for.

The Pool is between Grandstand buildings 81-84 and 85-88 and the bus stop is on the opposite side of 81-84 (from the pool).

We are staying at SSR for one of the upcoming DVC TL events, and I requested Grandstand & Near Transportation during online check-in.

I meant to call last week but we had Baccalaureate, Board meetings and Commencement and totally forgot!
I'll hope for the best but it is what it is I guess at this point.

I didn't think the buildings even had numbers, just the location and individual villa numbers.

if you can find their email, i would email them with your requests. I would start out with specific buildings, 85-88 are actually the same building just different floors.. I spoke with them concerning an upcoming family reunion trip for rooms and they gave me the email that goes straight to their room assigner but I do not have it with me. They will try to meet your needs if you do contact them within a week or so of arrival. we have always had our wish granted by SSR. I would be building specific and then finish with a general area as request.

Have MS note them on the reservation. This can be done by email (using the contact us feature on member website), chat or phone call.

Got Grandstand, golf course view, first floor. Getting Grandstand was first choice so all is good. Very close to bus stop! Called Monday for check in Wednesday.
Did not do online check in. When arrived at SSR at 10 am, checked in and requested Grandstand again, upper floor, next to pool or bus. Was in room by 2 pm.
