SSR Laundry

Hello. New to SSR. Where are the laundry facilities for DVC studios located? Probably different for each building and am not sure what building we'll be in.

There are laundry rooms located near the pools. You will need your KTTW for access.

I agree with dgaston. but keep in mind that the Grandstand pool laundry comes with a bar, for those big loads!

We have never had to use our KTTW card for access tho, and keep in mind that although there is a money slider thingy on the front, you don't need to feed the kitty, just push it in without coins.

Also, I beleive all are HE washers, so take HE soap or buy some there.

I didn't think the washers at the High Rock Spring pool and the Congress Park pool were HE washers.

What is HE washers? What brands do they sell on site? My skin is so sensitive I can only use All Free and Clear, anything else makes me break out in hives!

HE is High Efficiency. These washers require far less detergent than regular top loading models. The last time we were at SSR they had powder detergent, Tide I think.

We use unscented Purex 3 in 1 sheets. They work very well and are easy to pack.

I love the Purex sheets, I use them whenever I vacation. They are sooooo convenient

We will be staying in SSR Deluxe Studio the last 2 nights of our stay. Going home with clean laundry sounds great. How much does each load cost? To wash and dry? TIA!
