I have a generic map of SSR that our guide gave us but only have actual maps of OKW. Next Sunday morning, I will be running 20 miles and am trying to figure out a way to extend each 'lap' so I will have to do as few as possible.
I will start at the HH end of OKW, run down the 'nature trail' to DTD and then the length of DTD. I'm wondering about adding a loop around SSR via the walkway from Congress Park to West Side before returning to OKW and starting the process over again. Wishful thinking but, I'm hoping to figure out a way to get about 5 miles each lap so I only have to go by the same stuff 8 times. I know I'll have to get up about 6 am to do this.
On the bright side, it could be worse, I could be running 20 miles in 20 degree weather with 20-30 mph winds. Oh wait, that describes the 18 miles I did last weekend. TIA for any assistance or suggestions.

Sounds like your marathon training is coming along nicely. My brother just came back from a week at SSR. He said he ran in the morning around the resort with no problems. Some of the members on this board describe SSR as too big. For a distance runner such as yourself, I think you will find it pleasant. Paths wander past small and large water features, and a nice pedestrian bridge to break things up. Watch out for WDW groundskeepers. Those little carts come out of nowhere that early in the morning.
