SSR help please

So we will be staying at SSR for the first time next summer, as my reservation window approaches I have a few questions.
In looking at th resort map it seems that Springs Section is the closest to the main pool and buses where we like to stay,any particular section in Springs I should request. Can you put more than one section (like Springs or Grandstand) on a request. Are these typically honored?
Is the Main pool zero entry? I saw a picture of a zero entry pool but didn't know which one? If it isn't which section has that pool? The kiddie slide there looked great too. Can't wait to stay there!

I do believe you can put 2 request in for your reservation. Also the Grandstand is pretty close to the main pool. Plus the bus stop for the Grandstand is the first stop for pick up and drop off except for DTD. CM do their best to honor your request. The main pool is zero entry.

My family enjoys SSR, so I hope you enjoy it too!

The buses loop. So, I would stay at Carosel (bad spelling) to get on the bus first. You will go around and pick everyone up, but it's okay. You will get off first on the way back Room location is far from main pool, yet again, it's not that bad. Although, you should know, if you request a room location, sometimes it will not be honored. Unless, you check in really early, and request to wait. I have checked in early and received a room right way. The pool is zero entry at one side (main pool), additional pools are more for adults, but there is a new pool that is for both adults and children. Enjoy your stay, we love SSR!

As first mentioned, Grandstand is the first for the Park busses. Springs is last, Carousel sp? may be 2nd..

We just returned from SSR about 10 days ago. We requested both Springs and Grandstand and ended up with Springs. Now that I have experienced the resort and the size of it, we would not have been happy with Grandstand for this trip. Our girls LOVED the main pool and the slides. The large slide was perfect for our older girls and the small one for our littlest dd. We loved being so close to the pool, across the street from Community Hall and so near Artist Palette. We only did one park day this trip so I'm not sure how full the busses would be. But, we enjoyed being the last stop because we knew we were headed straight for the park (no other resort stops). THere were seats when we boarded (around 8:00 am) so we were thrilled. Good luck and have a great trip. We really loved SSR!

If you get Buildings 8100-8400 or 8500-8800 in the Grandstand, you are almost as close to the main area as if you were in the Springs. It is really just a short walk with no street to cross, very easy to get to the main area. Grandstand is also the first bus stop as previously mentioned. The other two buildings are a little farther away. That said, the Springs is the closest and may be what you will like. All I am saying is that when we were in Grandstands, room 8411, it was a short walk and not a great distance away as a previous post sounded (there is a walking path straight to the main area). It also is the first bus stop and the pool and refillable mug station next to our building was nice. Eventually, you will most likely (and should) experience all of the sections of SSR and will determine which area is best for your family and vacation style.

If you have children that are young, try to stay away from Carousel. It's so far from the main buildings. I had requested the Springs or Grandstand, but we were not lucky to get our request. It was a long walk on a hot day for the pool!!

We recently stayed at SSR. We were located in Congress Park (2512 and 2647) and we really liked the location. It was a nice walk to DTD and short walk to the big pool and the main building. We had originally requested Congress Park or the Grandstands

The big pool does have a nice big zero entry point. The kiddie slide is perfect for little ones and the big slide is fun for bigger kids and adults
