SSR Help Please! First time!

My mom is getting ready to book our first stay as DVC members, and we were wondering what section is the best to request for SSR? It will be my mom, my sister (21) and myself (18).

Also, what time does member services open in the morning? Thanks!

The Springs is the section closest to the main pool and the Carriage House. It is most convenient to the Turf Club and Artist Point (the only food facilities at SSR.)
We have also stayed at Congress Park which is a pleasant walk to the Carriage House AND to Downtown Disney.

I'd vote for Congress Park considering the mix of your group due to the proximity to Downtown Disney........lots of great stuff to do there!

I would vote for Congress Park.... It has nice views and is a quick walk to DTD

We just returned from our annual Mardi Gras vacation at SSR.. we stayed at the springs and loved it! I was able to walk to the spa to get an early workout in every morning, and the boys loved the short walk to the pool. We also like walking to the artist's palette for a snack.

Another vote for Congress Park. You just can't beat it for the views of DTD and the close proximity to it. The walk from there to the main pool area is not that far at all. GO FOR IT!
