SSR deposit and downpayment

I know the deposit is $500 when you call and they send paperwork. Is this $500 then included in downpayment or do you need a separate 10% down.

Example: 200 pts = 17800 - 2000 incentive = 15800
Would the downpayment be $500 deposit with additional 1280 down for total of 1780 (10% down)
or
Would it be $500 deposit with additional 10% down for total of $2280

The $400 counts towards your down payment so you would pay an additional $1280.

I bought 170 pts, put down $500 and the balance due in 30 days is $1013.

The total deposit of $1,780 minus $500 would mean that
$1,280 will be due when you send your paperwork back.
