SSR--clock radios--IPod chargers?

I read on another thread about someone's teens charging playing their ipods in the radios in their AKL room. Do the SSR clock radios have the ipod player/chargers? My younger DD just asked if she can charge her Ipod, which she usually does in her stereo, and I told her I'd ask here!

So far, I've only seen the iHome/iPod clock radios in the regular resorts (so that's WL and Beach Club recently) and not in the Villas (which is SSR, VWL, BCV and BWV recently).

Can't speak to the other locations since I haven't been there in the last year.

They don't have the new radios at SSR although I do believe they were at AKV.

oh well....it doesn't matter to me as I only listen to the Ipod on the plane and the battery is fine for that, but the girls use theirs more. Maybe I should throw the car charger into the suitcase and if one of their Ipods dies we can charge it up in the rental.

You can buy a wall plug adapter for Ipods it will be a plug that plugs into the wall and has a usb port in it you just plug it in the wall and stick the usb port into the other end and it will charge. You can get them At Target, WM, best buy and on Ebay. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Griffin sells a great charger that plugs into your car lighter socket, but the cable unplugs from the lighter plug-in part and it's actually a USB cable, so you can plug it into a computer. The cord comes with an A/C adapter plug that you plug into the wall, then plug the USB into it to charge up. VERY handy.

It's this one (although mine works for the iPhone 3G but I can't find that one on Amazon).

You can play the iPod through the radio, but not charge it.

If you have a Apple Airport Basestation Express, then you can charge your iPhone/iPod using your basestation.

And no I'm not on Apple's payroll. But I don't understand why all the basestations look like Linksys/D-link devices with 3 antennas and cheap cases, and Apple's devices are very slick with all the antennas built-in.
