SSR cash reservation - should I fax room request?

I have a cash reservation coming up at SSR. Should I fax a room request? Or call Disney reservations? also, if I do, should I also do online check in? I don't want to override anything and my room request is the most important thing - I don't really care if I get my room late as we are going straight to the parks on arrival.

I believe that the DVC Resorts do not consider faxes. At any rate I think calling in your request is best. You can do on line check but leave all requests blank

That won't work either. You don't just call the resort; you get the call center. Just add your request to your reservation.

Thanks everyone! I called and was able to get my request added to my reservation (i.e. didn't call the resort)
