Hi All, this will be our first time staying at SSR and I'm trying to get a better understanding of the bus stops. I've heard stories of buses getting full and drivers just driving right past some of the stops which makes me nervous with five kids. Do you happen to know what stops pick up first and is it worth a long walk in the morning to get to the 1st stop to ensure you get on the bus? Also, coming back from the theme parks is there an order in switch they follow as far as which sections left off first? I have to admit I'm not familiar with this resort at all compared to other properties, so do you need to get a bus to go to certain pools or is everything a manageable walk with kids? And finally, what is the best way to get to the springs if your not in the building right next to it? Should you go to the bus stop or grab the boat. Thanks so much!

Route/bus stops, to and coming back from parks is, in order of pick-up/drop-off, Grandstand area, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park and Springs. The risk of overfill is usually only in the morning, and the area most at risk is Springs, and potentially Congress Park (which are the preferred room areas).

There are no internal boats (the boats are what take you from SSR to Disney Springs mall area). You can walk to anywhere but issue is distance from any particular area which can be fairly short to quite long. The two main pools are in Springs and Paddock areas. If you have a room near the Paddock pool, you can fairly easily also get to the Springs area and pool via a walking bridge over a channel that is between Springs and Paddock. Shortest walk to Disney Springs, via another walking bridge, is from Congress Park and part of the Paddock area. Longest walk to Disney Springs is from the Grandstand area, preferred by some because it has the first bus stop both going and returning.
