SSR bus to DTD?????

Can you get a bus to DTD from SSR or do you have to walk or get the boat?

Last time we stayed at Congress Park so we walked. This trip I will be 20 weeks pregnant so we might want to get the bus if we end up in The Paddocks perhaps. Not sure how I will cope with the walking yet. Should be fine, especially as it won't be so hot at this time of year.

Also I have heard people mention Carousel area of SSR. Is this another area I have missed?

So looking forward to our trip to SSR later this month. I keep thinking about the flatbreads and Mickey waffles at AP and the lovely rooms and the great pool. Cannot wait............

I saw "Carousel" on one of the bus stops in what I thought was the Paddock area. Yes, there are DTD buses. I also saw inter-resort buses, so you could always ride it to Congress Park and walk over if you don't want to wait for the DD bus.

There are now two stops in the Paddock area. Carousel is the name of the first stop and Paddock is the name of the second. IIRC, even the maps of SSR they give at check in do not have the Carousel stop.

Any of the non-DTD busses will pick up at Carousel and/or Paddock and then go to Congress Park where you can get off at walk to DTD.

Is it Carousel-Paddock- Springs-Congress Park- out of resort?????

And the same in reverse for returning buses?

Almost... it's carousel, the paddock, congress park, the springs, then out. If you look at a resort map, the bus enters through the security gate, takes a left on union ave, then a right onto broadway, then back out through the security gate (a clockwise pattern).

Still just almost...it's normally carousel, paddock, cp, springs, but sometimes the last stop on the route is CP, and CP is sometimes the first stop on the route...seems to depend on which driver you get, rather than anything else...

One item we noticed was that the park busses all went Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, Springs and out but the DTD bus went:

CP, Springs, Carousel, Paddock, CP, out

This is due to the entrance/exit for the bus to DTD being on the road near CP. All the other busses use the entrance/exit on DVC way.

Where are the Carousel and Paddock bus stops located in the Paddock area? As you look at the map and see the five buildings, I see there is a bus stop noted between buildings 2 and 3 (if you count from left to right). It looks like it's near the quiet pool(?) Is that Carousel? Where is the other bus stop located?
