Does anyone know how SSR's bus service is? I'm trying to find out around what time we'd need to go to the bus stop to arrive at parks around 8:30 AM(the parks all open at 9 the days we go to them, trying to avoid EMHs). We'd be there mid-May (the week before Memorial's Day) and staying in The Springs so we'd use the central bus stop.

UG has a guide that tells estimated travel times in some grid but i'm not sure if those are based off bus service (once you get on the bus) or driving. We've been to WDW plenty of times and are aware bus service is far from quick so we'd want to make sure

We may have our own transportation but I want to find out just in case!

We stayed at SSR July of 2006 and were generally pleased with the bus service. I think there were 4 stops around the property so, depending on what building you're in you might be the first, second . . . stop. I would plan to get to the stop 30 to 40 minutes before you want to be at the park. Recognize that if a bus is pulling away just as you get to the stop, you could be waiting another 15 to 20 minutes for a bus.

Sometimes the buses would be quite full in the evening as a lot of people will take a SSR bus from the parks to get to DTD for evening activities.

I've always found TUG's estimates to be about right.
