ssr booking through disney.com

i have a question and i hope this is the right place to ask. i can get ssr next december at a good price. but im wanting to know that since im not a dvc owner and booking through disney, will there be extra charges not listed in the price. ie: cleaning? or is it already figured into the price. i will also look into renting points before i booked, but i just wanted to check all my options first. thank you for all your help.

If you are paying cash, that is, not using points for a stay at a DVC property, which is what you would be doing if you book through disneyworld.com, you receive all of the same benefits as a regular hotel room. No extra fees for cleaning, etc.

However, check into renting. Even if you wanted a full cleaning everyday, you'll have to pay for it, but you'll probably end up saving money anyways.

If you feel comfortable renting points you can usually save anywhere from 20-60% off of the Disney.com web room prices for a DVC resort. It's a great deal for the renter. You should go to the rent board to read more on renting.

If you are planning to stay over a Friday and Saturday nights, be sure to do the math. It may be less expensive to go through Disney directly than to rent points. And if you plan to pay for additional housekeeping services (no daily housekeeping for DVC members & their renters), you really need to do the math.

Keep in mind that whether you go through CRO with a cash reservation, or through renting points from a DVC member, that in neither case are you entitled to any of the DVC-Member perks.
