We arrive at SSR tomorrow for a 2 night stay ahead of our Fantasy cruise. We are not going to parks, so not planning on taking Magic Bands. We are taking Mears Shuttle from MCO to the resort. We haven’t stayed at SSR since 2009. Where will we be dropped when we get to the resort? If dropped at the front, then how do we get our stuff to whatever building we are in? Should we pick up card-keys before heading to the room? We have not always had luck with the iPhone working for the door. What are the options for getting over to Springs?

Finally, if anyone knows, we are using Disney transportation to the port. Will bell services pick up our bags early on departure day and take them to the bus boarding area? We’ve always done pre-cruise stays at Kidani or Jambo, which are a little more contained.

You’ll be dropped at Carriage House, and Bell Services will bring you and your luggage to your villa. A tip is customary.

Yes, you can pick up card keys at the checkin desk at Carriage House.

NM - no parks! They can link your park tickets to the cards too, so that will be all you’ll need for the parks too (entry as well as LLs and VQ). It sounds like you don’t have MB, which do all the same things.

You can walk via the walkway from the Congress Park section, you can take the boat from behind the Carriage House, or you can catch a DS bus at any SSR bus stop.

You should get an email from DCL explaining the process. I don’t have direct knowledge, but you might ask on the DCL forum: https://www.disboards.com/forums/disney-cruise-line-forum.9/

Enjoy your trip and cruise!
