So I will be staying Saratoga springs. They flight when I leave is at 3pm. With southwest to get a good seat you typically need to "check in" the day before via computer.

Does anyone know... is there a computer at SSR that I could use for 5 minutes to this? Or has anyone asked the concierge desk to do it for them?

Any other tips would be good.

I have not stayed at SSR, but the desk at VWL and BWV have checked us in and printed a boarding pass for us. Also, once we went to Guest Relations at Epcot and they let us use a computer in back to print out our SW boarding pass. You'll be fine. Ask about the procedure when you check into the resort.

You should be able check in at the front desk or concierge counter. That's the way it works at BWV, so I'm sure it's the same at SSR. They'll print the boarding pass for you and you'll be all set for your return flight!

You have several options. If you know you are going to be at the resort at 3PM the previous day, lobby concierge will check you in and print your boarding passes. If you are going to be in a park, guest servcies can do the same for you. If you have internet access on your phone, you can use that to check in.

Personally, when I'm on vacation, I don't want to have to worry about checking in at an exact moment, so I have a friend back home check me in. Then I just "reprint" my boarding passes from the kiosks at the airport.

I just returned from Saratoga Springs and took Southwest. I went to the concereige desk and they checked in online for me and printed out my boarding pass for me and my family. It took like 2 minutes. No problem at all

Ditto. Since you can check in 24 hours before your flight, we went the day before so we didn't have to worry about it the next morning. The CM at the front desk was GREAT, printed them out in about 2 minutes and we were on our way!:thumbsup2

We just returned from SSR. We used our web-enabled cell phone to check in for our Southwest flight while we were in the parks. Just set the alarm on our phones to remind us so that it did not matter where we were, we could checkin at the 24 hour mark.

just don't let the front desk or concierge convenience you to go to the flight (DME) desk.

they can't for southwest.

so don't waste time.

of course since they refused until I got the manager from the DME to come over and convience them....:rotfl:

I just did the samething. It was no problem at all. The CM even commented that I was lucky to get such a low boarding number (I was 1 hour late checking in). She said she does this all the time and was shocked that I was able to get an "A" boarding that late.

Let's see -- Concierge Desks have printed boarding passes for me from AKV, then MGM, the Poly (while I was waiting for July 3rd fireworks in 2006), BWV and SSR. Royal Pacific over at Universal will do it too! SW seems to be my airline of choice.

We've done check in & boarding passes at SSR and VWL (both at Concierge), and also at one of the parks at Guest Services. It was very easy every time, and they obviously are quite used to doing it.
