Hi!
Do the units at Saratoga have the automatic, motion detector air conditioner or the standard central air conditioners? Just curious.

Motion-controlled. Sigh. Only real drawback. Oh well. Btw, the fans in the 1BRs also are, weirdly enough, motion-controlled.

I guess they are motion controlled. We didn't have any problems with the AC while we were there, though. (...and it was HOT HOT HOT!)

The motion detector bathroom fans are a real pain though.

Motion controlled fans? You mean the ceiling fans? Please elaborate. I can't see how this would work if you're someone who likes the ceiling fan over the bed going all night.

i agree that the motion controlled ceiling fans are a bit weird. Any more info on this?

Ok, we need a revision of terminology here. It's actually the "exhaust" fan in the bathrooms that is motion controlled. The fan will come on as you come in the bathroom and stay on until you leave.

The air conditioning is similar to all the new controls throughout Disney.

The air conditioning may be on a sensor, but I can tell you it works just fine. I am a hot natured person, and our room was very comfortable all the time, no problems at all.

I liked the fan in the bathroom, at least I didn't have to go in behind hubby and turn it on when he forgot. :earseek:
