SSR Activities center question regarding age?

Is there a certain age kids need to be to play in the activities' center near the main pool (where they color and play video games and board games), unaccompanied by an adult? We saw lots of kids there last summer without mom or dad (although they were close by at the pool or somewhere in that vicinity), that seemed fairly young.

Also what is the age kids have to be to use the fitness center? THANKS!

There is no posted age, but it is posted on each schedule that parents are responsible for their children and not the DVC staff.

So if a parent is comfortable leaving their child unattended then I guess they could. There is no sign in/check in procedure, so the staff really dont know who is left there.

Not something we chose to do when the boys were younger, the place has 4 doors and 2 of them lead out to the main street so I would not be comfortable leaving a small child there alone or anywhere at WDW or on earth.

I believe you have to be 15 and up to use the fitness center unattended. 12 if accompanied by an adult.
