The dilema.
We could stay at the BW concierge or the TREEHOUSE VILLA!!! For the same price.

DH is sold on Concierge after staying there twice. I say with 4 kids- the villa would be fun. Plus more bathrooms! But lacks the "walk to a park" option.

So which would you choose?
I always wanted to stay treehouse when I was a kid.

I would take the treehouse. You can load the kitchen with the same goldfish crackers, cereal, pastries that you get club level.

The title of your thread says SSR 2B. Did you really mean THV or SSR? Of course, THV is part of SSR, but it isn't considered a two bedroom villa. It does have three bedrooms, sleeps up to nine with two queen beds, one queen sleeper sofa, a set of bunks and a twin sized sleeper chair. A SSR two bedroom has one king bed, one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa (or two queen beds - depending on whether it is dedicated or not) and a queen sleeper sofa. They both have two bathrooms, but the bathrooms at THV are smaller.

You have to either walk from the THV to the Grandstand or take a bus from THV to Grandstand or Springs to get a bus to the theme parks.

Actually I was surprised that they are all about the same price- so the 2 bedroom at SSR and the treehouse priced out exactly the same.

Hmm. Reading more about the treehouse villas- maybe it's not a great idea for us. (tiny pool lots of stairs long bus rides)

Oh what to do!? I am searching for a "new" idea and coming up short. Thank you for all the information though.

We were in the same boat and had a REALLY hard time deciding.

We have stayed in a grand villa at OKW and a 2 BR at SSR and that was the BEST vacation we EVER had. The kids had their own room/bathroom and TV and DH and I had privacy! That being said and as much as we enjoyed the resorts.......we are staying in the deluxe room at BWI this time because we always wanted to stay at the BWI. I will let you know when we get back what I would do next time.......

Have a great time. We LOVE the deluxe rooms- be aware there is ONE room(SHoot I can't remember the #) That has 1 tv vs. the 2 in all the other rooms. Had I not seen that on here we would have gotten stuck with the one tv room. just know so if you get it you can ask to be moved)
The views are GREAT! Enjoy and I can't wait to hear your opinion when you get back! Thank you!

I would do a 2br at SSR. It has more room then the conierge level and it's closer to things then the treehouse villas.

Do you know the link to the info with the room #? Do you think it is better to be on the 3rd or 4th floor?

Found my old reply on the Boardwalk thread

"Evening snacks! Woohoo were they good this year. We had a night of ESPN stuff- wings yummy and chili., a night of 2 "pastry" type meats- you know those filled pockets- yummy good. One night was skewered meat, another was chicken tenders(from espn) Really the night with the hummus had 2 other Hot items. It's generally 2 hots and a couple dips along with the cut up pb&j uncrustables that my kids enjoyed.

Lorenzo is the man to talk to about the food- he is so funny and will give you pointers on the good nights!(He gave us the espn heads up!)

Oh and the ONE tv CL room is room number 4225 - how do we know? Well we were put in there at check in! Ooops- switched immediately to room 4229. Much better! Right above the bakery- mmm cupcakes.

SRUalum did you spot us? We were rarely all in the lounge though - there were some rather lively other children in there(another family of 6 and I was mortified thinking that you might think that was us! )"

I prefer the 4th floor as that is where the Lounge is. But I've never stayed on the 3rd floor so I don't know. I thought all the Deluxe club rooms were on the 4th floor(the ones that sleep 6)And really LORENZO is amazing as are almost all the CM's that work the BW concierge. They are so nice and seem to actually love their jobs. That's why it's hard to pass it up.

Oh and I found great info on this old thread
