SSR 2 bedroom availability?

Does anyone have any insight on availability of a 2 bedroom at SSR for Marathon Weekend? I do own SSR so I willing be booking at 11 months. Pre purchased our bibs through a TA so we have a split stay. Wondering if I'll have a problem getting a 2 BR, should I have plan B?

If you book at 11 months, I would not be at all worried.

I don't see any problem, if you're worried since it's you home resort, just book on line at 8am EST at 11 months you will be fine.

Marathon booking challenges mostly occur with small categories that frequently have booking challenges anyway, and at 7 months.

SSR 2BR is not small, and you're booking at 11 months. You're going to be cool unless this is the absolute, total apocalypse. In which case, we're all doomed.

I'd rate that as zero worries since you will be booking at 11 months.

Reservations are cancel-able/movable (based upon availability) so best to book SSR at 11 months out.

You may put an alarm on your calendar to check at 7 months and see if there is availability at other resorts if you have interest in staying at another Disney resort.

THanks! I've got an alarm set. My traveling companions are worried, which is why we booked already with a TA to get bibs. So we have to stay 2 nights at a value then switch resorts to stay DVC. I usually rent my points to pay for my cruising habit so I'm not too up on inventory on land!

A dedicated 2BR at SSR (both standard and preferred) is one of the few room categories usually open even at 7 months out for marathon weekend. At 11 months out, it will be a certainty.

If you own there, you're good. I had no issues booking anything at SSR (also an owner) at marathon weekend the last three years.
