SSR 1st week of Dec

So we just joined DVC last week on our cruise and have booked Dec 2-7 at SSR! We are excited! We have never stayed there before so wanted some feedback! We also wait listed for AKL. What are the chances of actually getting in at AKL? If we don't that is fine because we have a room at SSR! can't wait to see WDW at Christmas!

I believe the meeting is 12/13 this year.

You wont have to worry about the meeting, because it's late this time. I'd say your chances are slim on the waitlist, but not impossible, so keep your fingers crossed!

Our first DVC visit was at SSR during the first week in December and we loved it. SSR is our home resort which we were a little unsure of initially since we live about 20 miles from the real Saratoga, but we've grown to love it and appreciate everything it has to offer. We've always had a good stay there. That being said, we also love AKL (both Jambo and Kidani). Since our first visit to SSR we've been back there four times and have also stayed at all of the other DVC resorts son the property except BC and BLT. My advice is, relax, enjoy the anticipation of your first stay without stressing about whether or not your wait list will come in. If it does, fine. If not, there will be other trips and opportunities. Before you know it you will have tied most of them and will develop your preferences.
