SSMC2006 cruise friends

Diana, where are you staying at the port? We stayed at the Country Inns & Suites in November. It was very nice.

If your staying there, tell them Gail sent you. ;) :rotfl2: ;)

Yea, we're staying there and Gail did send me. :lmao: We actually had a ton of points with them so we're staying for free.

Tina---See you on Sunday!! :drinking1 You should be able to see the shuttle launch. It's scheduled for thurs but as NASA's luck would have it, Thurs is the only day in 2 weeks where it's supposed to be rainy, so maybe Friday or Saturday.

We leave on Saturday, after cheerleading and Soccer tryouts. We're heading to Epcot for the day and then spending the night out at the port.

I could use a cruise these days. Kay, do you own your own cabin on that ship yet? :rotfl: Maybe when the new ones come out that will be an option. :cool1:

hey - that's a good idea............ but I'd miss my puppy too much

Have a great time all you cruisers!

Cindy what time is hockey on Saturday?

It looks like we will have a group going wine tasting! Dale and Karen are coming with us. They said to say HI and are excited to see you all too.

Let me know what time is best for you and we will go from there

Hockey is at 3 and there is no way I can talk Walker out of missing that. Basketball he will give up, but not hockey. In fact, he could probably stay home with Cameron as I doubt Cameron's going to be joining us.

I wanted to ask, are you doing wine tasting at Lynfred? I've heard good things about them.

I'm not exactly sure that we'll be able to do everything. What time is the thing at Woodfield again? We're you planning on hanging out at the mall once that was over or just heading on to lunch?

We do have someone coming at 10 to pick something up but I could probably move that a little earlier if it conflicts.

How's that for a non-answer?? :rotfl2:

:cool1:

We'll be at the port early, probably 10:30ish. I'll look for you.

 I want to go on a cruise too

This is the 1st time in a long time that we don't have a cruise planned. It's still early in the year, I'm sure we will come up with something!

Diana and Kay I will see you guys at the port Sunday jay has our cell numbers. Mary Congrats on the twins

Diana - the diaper cake arrived today - thanks so much - it's adorable. Guess I will be ordering again in the summer - not sure if we'll know what Christopher's siblings will be altho he does pat his momma's tummy and say "sista". Hmmm - could he know?

Have a great cruise ladies! I have to wait til March - going on a non-Disney one again for some good r n r.

Where the heck did all this snow come from??? :confused3

This morning there was a lot of slush and was lightly snowing. It has snowed all day and about 3 PM it started coming down really heavy. It took John 3 hours to make a 1 hour drive home. Him and the guy across the street plowed out all the driveways around our house. On the 6 PM news they said we were suppose to get 3-6" of snow, we have 6" already and it's still snowing.

Deanna and her friends are texting and IMing like crazy - I think they are hoping for a snow day tomorrow.

How much longer until Spring????

I think it came from us. :rolleyes1

It finally stopped snowing here about 7 p.m. We got a significant amount - a much different picture than this morning when I wondered just why my kids had a snow day.

I know they are hoping to have another one tomorrow. As it is, it's conference tomorrow night so they only have 1/2 a day anyway. But, I know it would be a headache for everyone to have those conferences rescheduled and with a night of plowing & salting, I'll be surprised if they have another snow day tomorrow.

Deanna & her friends might be in luck though. :wizard:

Yes, but don't tell them about the rain that's coming and the "cold" front!!! It's gonna get "down" to a whopping 67 degrees in a couple of days.

It's a good thing I didn't get rid of those winter coats.....67 is downright fridgid!! :cold:

:lmao: Sorry Northerners, I do remember cold, it wasn't THAT long ago. :lmao:

I am SO SO SO Sorry for all of you.

Bundle Up!!!

:charac2:

I have to say, it sure looks pretty outside this morning. If Cameron's calculations are close, we got about 10" of snow. Ironically, he's working on the Weather Merit Badge this week, so he's had something more than usual to track. :thumbsup2

Another snow day here. I guess the ritual of putting a spoon under the pillow and wear your pajama's backward worked for the kids. Don't ask, Deanna said it was something the teachers told them :confused3 I'm glad they are learning the important things in school ;)

We have about another 2" since we plowed out last night. The bad part is the slushy stuff from yesterday is now frozen so there's ice under the snow.

67º, yes you guys should drag out your parka's! You guys have 1 week to get rid of the cold spell, I'm looking forward to at least 75º while I'm down there.

Well, up until Sunday, it's still supposed to be in the 70s. And, Diana's right, it was up near and into the low 80s the last few days. THIS is the reason that I live in Florida! I don't miss snow, AT ALL!!!

Yes, I'm home from work today. Poor Emily is sick. She woke up this morning kinda quiet, and right before we were supposed to leave for school, she got sick. So, she's resting on the couch and looks SO pale. She's actually running an opposite fever. Her temp is low right now (down in the 94/95 range). Poor thing!

We have to leave in a few minutes to pick up my mom from the airport, then back home to rest for Emily. I just feel bad that she's so sick right now.

See this is the difference in FLA and Texas... our normal highs this time of year are mid 50s (now last week it was 80) and lows are in the 30s. We don't get snow... but we do freeze to death and run the heat :scared1: .
