I got a flyer from DVC about their 2009 Member Cruise. How is this different from the other cruises that the DVC website has listed? Is it fewer points? Is this only DVC members and the others are a combination of DVC members and regular paying guests? Are the extras that the flyers talks about all that great? Any guidance from anyone who has been on a member cruise and/or a regular cruise with DVC points would be helpful. I am taking my wife on a Disney cruise for her retirement from teaching and what it to be special. Thanks.

The cruise is primarily DVC Members and their guests. The point requirements are typically higher than regular cruises, but there are many perks and amenities offered than on regular cruises. In the past they have had special guests onboard with programs for DVC Members as well as unique gifts for members.

This would certainly be a special retirement cruise, especially if you are looking for a 4 night cruise. Another consideration would be a 7 night cruise! ;)

Enjoy! :)
