SS A few of your favorite things..

We are going in Dec. This was a last minute decision and we will be staying at SS . We own at BCV and love it!! Tell me all of the great things about SS. Thank you.

We enjoy morning walks around the beautiful grounds and DTD. Sometimes we'll just keep on walking to OKW and catch the bus to DTD and walk back to SSR.
Lots of wildlife, beautiful views, Spa pedicures, movies at the Hi Rock Springs pool, Community Hall activities and parties, love walking thru the AKV and BLT models (cant see them enough) Artist Palette and Turf Club, riding the boat to DTD for a meal or shopping.
We enjoy the DTD view in Congress Park.
We own BCV and love it, but we also love SSR and will be there this December also!

The peaceful morning walks, the beautiful views, our nightly walks to DTD, watching the golfers (not a golf fan but like it anyway), SPA....basically all that Liferbabe said. We'll be back there in November and get to show it off to our family....can't wait!

I agree with the peacefulness of the resort. Early morning/evening walks are great. We really enjoy coming back to a quiet resort after being at the hectic parks all day.

We usually take the boat once or twice over to DTD for dinner. It really puts lots more restaurants at easy reach--especially if you are without a car.

We had a great dinner at the Turf Club. The outside patio at the Turf Club looks nice and might be a comfortable option in December.

I hope you enjoy your trip. We love BCV too but SSR is "home" for us and we always enjoy our stays there.

I'll echo all the others. SSR is great for just walking around and not rushing. Take the time to just look at how beautiful the resort really is.

for us we love the relaxed feel of the resort. So many times I have come home from Disney needing a vacation after my vacation but after a day in the parks SSR feels so calming and vacationlike. Love that! The kids love the pool in Grandstands section, we love the Turf Club and we have loved the activities planned or impromptu for the kids. I never thought I would like it as much as we do. This trip we are not staying there and I feel like I will miss it.

We just came back from SSR and loved it. We were in the Grandstands and were the 1st on and 1st off from the busses everyday. It was quiet and peaceful....we enjoyed having drinks and appys in the lounge near turf club. The pools were very nice and particularly enjoyed the movies by the main pool. Just a really nice place. Of course, this was our 1st trip using our DVC.

It's a happy place. Everyone there, the guests, the cast just always seem so happy to be there.

Great places to walk and enjoy the beautiful landscaping. It gets better each visit.

Artist Pallete, my favorite counter service at Disney.

Beautifully decorated units, very high end, reminds me of the Grand Floridian rooms.

Great staff, everyone is always so helpful and friendly.

Fun activities at the pool and community hall for kids.

Love walking to Downtown Disney to shop and dine or take the boat.

Seeing the various wildlife around the resort - the ducks and the otters are always entertaining.

Being so close to DTD - we loved walking over there in the mornings. If we were there in the evening, we loved taking the boat back to the resort.

The beautiful grounds and the pools. DD also loved being able to swim and watch a movie at the same time!

The resort is beautiful, there's something about it that always catches my breath when I first see it or even when I return from a park.

I love how it is quiet and peaceful. I really do not have to see another guest unless I go to the pools, bus stop, or main building.

We are staying at SSR again in November. I love being so close to DTD. The walk around the water is so peaceful. The pool is really fun as well. Just love SSR and can't wait to go again!!! Have a great trip!!!

Just had our 1st trip there this summer
We love all the fountains and the paths. The walks and grounds are so lovely and peaceful, a nice retreat from hectic days at the park.

My kids LOVED all the activities and games at Community Hall, and we all really enjoyed the movies at night at the pool.

You'll enjoy it, we sure did!

We love SSR. After all the hustle and bustle of the parks once you get back to SSR you don't feel your at Disney. Very calming. Hope you have a great trip!

if you have a car, parking is excellent. Much closer from room to car than many of the other DVC resorts.
