I just did this offer through the email--looks like a pretty good deal. I put in my cc information & everything & got this message:

Thank you for your membership application. Your enrollment package will be sent upon successful processing and verification of your requests. Should you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Department.

Did anyone else try this one? Did you get this? I was expecting to be taken to the site to pick out my book list after i put in my cc.

I'm seeing a lot of credits come in on these and will get them posted after dinner. I actually signed up for it myself before I posted it. I got the same message as you and then went in and added a book to my list. Once I did that, it said that it would ship tomorrow.

But I'm not sure if you pay the 9.95 to join and then another 9.95 per book? Or is the initial 9.95 for the first book?

Either way, it is a pretty good deal with the payout. :)

Well, I just tried to log in using the email & password I signed up with & I get a log in error.

I'd really like to do this one, but I don't know if I should try it again or just wait--don't want to be charged twice or mess up doing the offer twice on SR either.:confused3

i just joined. Had thought about it when it was at My points but I have such a hard time getting points from them I decided against it. glad I did. I love to read so this is a good one. I get 14 dollars from SR and don't need to worry about canceling this one as I want this one. Hope it credits easily

Zooba is a great offer. I did it through another rewards site last Spring, and I have kept my membership ever since.

It's 9.95 per book, but since I am a book-a-holic, and that price is very good, I am very happy to pay that out each month. I wish that there selection was a little bit wider, but I have always been able to find enough books I want to put in my queue.

I particularly like the fact that I can choose what I want (kind of like Netflix). No automatic shipments to remember to tell them I don't want!

I did it through MyPoints a year ago (they did one of those double points for "losing" during one of the contests so I got 2000 points) I bought my commitment's worth (books I was planning on buying anyway) and simply wrote "cancel subscription" on one of the order forms they sent. Never heard a peep back - cancellation was that easy.

THe $9.95 included the first book.

SR has already given me credit for this one!!! yippee. that is a nice jump in how much money I have. :)

What is the commitment when you sign up? How many books do you have to buy before cancelling?

Do they have any good devotional type books? That is what I am interested in. If they do, I will sign up because I am going to buy a few of those anyway.
Angela

Okay so the 9.95 INCLUDES the first book? or is it 9.95 to join PLUS 3 MORE 9.95 books? Thanks!

I guess mine didn't work because I didn't get SR credit. I emailed Zooba's Customer Service to see what happened.

My understanding was that it was $9.95 for the first month including the first book. Then 9.95 each month--one book per month. If you don't choose a book that month you still have to pay the 9.95. You have to buy 3 books/3 months as your fulfillment requirement (as someone else also posted).

I think this is a great deal especially with a 14.00 payout. Some of the books I looked at are usually $25-$30.

The way this works (unless they've made changes since last summer) is that you sign up for a $9.95 monthly subsciption. That gives you one free book per month from your queue. If you don't have any in your queue, they'll email to remind you, if you still don't add - they charge you and you don't get a book (they can't send you one if you don't sign up for one) You can buy MORE than one book per month at $9.95, but for the signup you agree to three months - not three books. So if you buy 3 books right now, you're still obligated for 2 more months. If you space those three books out and just let them sit in your queue and let those be your monthly commitment then they count.

Did that make sense? LOL

Anyway, it's three books minimum.

I signed up today also, no creidt yet fro SR but I didn't receive the message that Shelley and Tricia received.

I was taken right to the place where you add books and when I placed my first book in, it said it would ship tomorrow.

Thanks to the person who posted that it was a 3 MONTH commitment not a 3 book commitment. I almost bought 3 books at once to get it over with but decided against it. :scared1: And I thought I read the terms pretty well.

The How It Works section says you can cancel your account online.

OT-----but
What books did everyone put in their list??

I ordered DANCE OF THE GODS by Nora Roberts
Then I found the third book in the series VALLEY OF SILENCE so I put that as next month's book.

I read the first book in the series Morrigan's Cross, sometime ago. I had bought it at the airport without realizing it was about vampires. When I started reading it, I was a little miffed I hate books about vampires.

I plodded through the first couple of chapters and found it's actually about a battle between good and evil. It was very good and I'm thrilled to be getting the other 2 books for $10 each.

Thanks Tricia.

You can check and make sure - they may have changed it. Like I said in my post, that's how it was a year ago. . .the three month commitment. Maybe someone can find out for sure if that's still the case.

I'm fine with that either way. I can't wait to get my 1st book.

If you don't like the first book you can send it back for a refund and they will cancel you subscription. I can't see me not liking a book:goodvibes

I just signed up! Hope it credits, have been a little afraid lately....but I have faith! Plus, I love books. I think I will probably keep this after the 3 books!! GREAT thing to try at least!!

I clicked on the e-mail a couple of days ago, but didn't join. If I click on it again and join, do you think it will credit or is there someplace on the website I can click through? Thanks!:goodvibes
