I did the Claim Your Vacation offer late last month. You get a 14-day trial membership to Family Savers Club and the instructions tell you to cancel by sending an email to a specific address. I did that back on Feb. 1 and today I noticed a charge from FSC to my card for $39.95. I found a phone number and called and the rep didn't seem at all surprised. She said the cancellation hadn't gone through yet :confused3 but that she would go ahead and credit my card. It seemed a little fishy to me - like she got this call all the time. Anyway, it is a reminder to always keep good records and keep an eye on your account for charges like these. :scared:

It is a good reminder to us to be careful. Always watching. My husband last night was real strong on making sure I was careful. Don't want our identity stolen, don't want to have our credit ruined, etc. He is right. The internet is a great way to steal from people. Either the companies we sign up through or the people who can hack in. Thanks for the heads up and reminder!

Can you post the number you called? The one I call always says they are busy and to leave a message and they will call back (which they never do)

Thanks,

Randi

I did that one in Janurary. I sent the e-mail and after two days when I had heard nothing from them I went back to the site to see what was going on. I found a way to cancel online. Sure glad I did or I might have had the same problem. I hope others read this.

It's 800-558-0064. I didn't have any trouble getting through, thank goodness.

Thanks, That was the same number I was calling but this time I got through....Same thing, but I was charged for december and febuary....I'd called previously but couldn't get through and left messages which they didn't return...The girl didn't seem suprised at all, and said she'd credit both charges...
