Last week I was denied points for shopping at Dell. And every day I try to find the X on the Sunshine Scratch Off game. Now when I click on the game I get this:

"Sorry, but you were not one of the randonly choosen members to receive a ticket today. Please come back tomorrow and try again."

It's getting impossible to get any points and I think I'm wasting my valuable time on SR. Anyone else feel this way with reward sites?

I feel the same way about them. I'm at $14.90 and if this is the way the scratch off is going to go I'll never get to $20.

I'm able to do it every day. It 600 only. Do you try in the morning? Maybe by the time you try to do it all 600 are gone?

I have always done it first thing in the morning. I've never had a problem getting a ticket. This morning I was up around 4:00 am and it still said I didn't get one of the random tickets. It now reads that you have to get one of the random tickets - not one of the first 600.

I too was always able to get it every morning. The last 2 days, nothing. That sucks

I wonder if they changed it because those of us in the Eastern Time zone were getting all the chances before the West Coast was even awake? There is a forum on SR, might be worth checking to see if the rules have changed or to post a question about it.

i haven't seen anything about the ticket thing. i do it every morning, have never had a problem with it. now weather or not i get the penny's is another story.

i am at 19.56 ish? i so need to get lots of those 3 cents to get to cash out. lol

that is about all i do over there anymore. unless i do shop, then i do shop thru them, plus scratch off. that is it.

it takes too long to make money there and takes way too long to get your money once you hit cash out.

They announced a change to the scratch-off game about two days ago. Now, there will still be 600 tickets, but they will be randomly loaded throughout the day. Apparently, a lot of people we logging in at midnight, playing the scratch off, and then never returning to the site.

If you are looking for a way to boost your earnings, try the daily surveys. There are now FIVE surveys that you can take and get credit for each day. There is one that is worth $0.50, two that are worth $0.60, one that is $0.80 and one that is $0.90 so there is potential of $3.40 a day, just for doing surveys.

I used to waste an hour or more a day doing surveys. I have followed all the tips - don't rush, don't line, etc. and I just never qualify. I don't bother anymore.

I'm becoming more and more disenchanted with SR. I've had 5-10 instances of clicking on a survey, qualifying (at least that is what the survey tells me). I spend 10 minutes or more answering many questions and then get the message that I "didn't qualify". IMO the survey companies are gathering their info and then saying that I don't qualify so they don't have to "pay" for me completing the survey. Last night I answered 42 screens (pages) of questions and then told I didn't qualify. First it was one survey company and now there are 2.

I agree, however, it really isn't SR's fault. That is all up to the survey company...SR just provides the link.

Now, they say that if you don't qualify, any data you entered is purged, but I'm not sure I 100% buy that, especially when you are at the very end and like, your gender disqualifies you.

My totally unfounded theory is when you get disqualified in the middle or near the end, it is almost like the survey writers are trying to skew the survey in the product favor. Suppose you chose you didn't like something or whatever, and they were trying to get stats on how great it is...if you said nope, don't like it, you'd be kicked out b/c they want more likes than dislikes.

Of course I have ZERO proof of that. Just my negative cynical self :)

I'm also getting the 'randomly selected' message. I'm really upset about this. I'm a little over $17 at SR, and at this rate, it's going to take me forever to get to the $20 cashout level.

Are you trying the 5 daily surveys available? And if so, are you continuing to try as your time allows. If you get the "Sorry you didn't qualify" blah blah, you can retry using all your same info/email as many times as you want.

If you are counting on scratch off to get to $20 you could be trying for literally years.

I'm kind of confused at everyone's issue with the scratchoff. :confused3

I mean in the just about impossible event that you actually got 3 cents every day, it's $10.65 a year. You can get that with surveys if you are diligent in less than a week.

I've been there since almost day one in 2006 and my total scratch off earnings thus far is $5.57. And that is trying almost daily.

That is an internal game for them, SR doesn't get any money from any affiliates for it. It's just a quirky little fun gift for their members.

I just spent half an hour trying to qualify for surveys and didn't get one. I can't wait to get my $20 and be done with Sunshine. There are never any daily clicks anymore and I haven't gotten a scratchoff in a week.

The main focus of Sunshine is now shopping and surveys. If those don't work for you, another site might be a better fit.
Like with many sites there are those that love it (including me!) and those that just find it frustrating.

Just remember....the surveys come from one central survey co. for each type (greenfield, amp, 2cents, etc.) so no matter what program you join, SR, QR, Simple GPT, you are going to have the same frustration. Once you click out of the reward site to the survey it is out of their hands and totally up to Greenfiled, AMP, etc.

SR was never a daily click site. I think they had maybe 3 or 4 a week if that.

A good site for daily clicks and paid emails is Simple GPT if you want to check that out.

Yep. It's definitely one side or the other! I love they have 5 daily surveys now. If I could just get my *bleepitybleep* together and try them daily :goodvibes

I love the rewards for my 1800petmeds. $7 flat reward for anything over $50. $8 if you hit a special.

i just shopped thru sr and i now have over what i need to cash out, of course i have to wait for that amount to come out of pending, and of course then i have to wait again for it to show up in pay pal.

i agree with what someone else said, sr is not a site for daily clicks. it is ok for shopping IF you can wait for the pending credits and the waiting for pay out. i can, so i do.

as far as the scratch off goes, i am still getting it every day. but i really don't like the way the owners are making me feel. i shop thru them when i can, (which lately hasn't been often), but i do when i can. and i do the daily scratch off. i read the forums, but really don't partake in them. i feel like i am nothing over there for that because i only do the scratch off.

i understand this is a business for them, but i also am in this to make money. if i am not making it on sr, i am going some where else.

right now on simple i can make $5.00 in a matter of minutes. i am averaging $15 a day. could do more, i just don't have the much time. for me the money is at simple.

i have made close to $600 at simple since oct. i could never do that at sr. i am probably close to $100 right now just for april again, i could never do that at sr.

this is just my opinion and my situation.

Unfortunately the need to wait for cash outs is a result of people committing fraud. I hope that Simple GPT can last a good long time for people who use it but these are just the types of sites who get stuck by the advertisers and not paid because of fraud and then they end up not paying the people who have done all of the clicking. The draw of the big bucks looks great but in the end the money is being paid for information and if the advertisers are being defrauded by people they don't pay. We have seen so many of these sites come and go over the years. We have also seen so many times (even at SR) where people do all of these offers and shopping fraudulently and then cash out and get their money and then SR finds out about the fraud and gets stuck for the money. It would be amazing if everyone could be honest and on the up and up when earning but that just isn't the case. Would I like to get my money tomorrow instead of six weeks? Sure but I would much rather know that SR has my money in hand before they pay it out to me. This way I know someone else isn't getting MY money through fraud and then SR doesn't have it to pay me when I want it. There are give and takes. I don't really understand the upset about the click. It is a game not a money earner. It was never meant as a way for members to earn money. It is meant as something fun and extra. People who only do the scratch off aren't being "customers" to SR. They are taking money and giving anything. Will it hurt SR if people like that leave? Nope. There is no money being lost by SR only money gained because SR pays for those scratch off clicks and not advertisers. In the end everyone has to choose what is best for them. I have tried other sites and my biggest concern is that I have seen SO MANY sites walk away with peoples money because they get shut down for fraud. I prefer a site I know is honest and credible and making sure they have long term sustainability. Could I make more money somewhere else? Yep, probably but would I ever see it? Who knows?

Do you realize that even if you got the scratch off everyday and got the .03 everytime it still would take you 100 days to cash out? It isn't a money earner on the site...it is just a fun extra thing. I can't imagine putting time and energy in to making .01-.03 a day. It isn't even worth my time to sign in to a site for only that pay out. Why bother to visit SR at all? Better yet why not do other things on the site to at least make .50 off of a freebie offer or something.

I'm thrilled that SR is focusing on surveys and shopping, because that is what I do. I have earned over $51 so far this month - 1.20 from a shopping order, about 10 cents from the scratch off, and about $50 from surveys. They do take some time, but they don't cost me anything and they don't spam me. There are now six daily surveys, so I can make over $4 per day if I am diligent. In reality, I usually get 3 or 4 surveys per day instead of all 6, but I have seen my account grow this month and will be cashing out soon for my third $100 Disney gift card since December. Some days I don't have that much time to invest, but when I do, I'm happy to know that there are so many survey opportunities each day. For me, SR is the best fit and I am happy for the chance to make a little extra vacation money. :)
